Job Description:

The IT Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of IT infrastructure and deployment projects supporting organizational growth initiatives, including new site onboarding, acquisitions, and multi-site expansions. This role leads the planning, coordination, and execution of IT deployments across multiple locations, ensuring infrastructure readiness and seamless go-live execution. You will partner with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver scalable, repeatable solutions that support operational success. The role requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, telecommunications, and end-user technologies, combined with the ability to manage complex, fast-paced deployments across geographically distributed sites.

Responsibilities:

  • This role is responsible for the planning, implementation, execution, communication, and successful completion of assigned projects using the project management methodology best practices and tools.

  • Manage multiple IT infrastructure and deployment projects with cross-functional teams in compliance with PMO standards.

  • Define, document, and manage project scope, schedule, resources, risks, and deliverables while maintaining scope integrity.

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, and deployment schedules across multiple sites.

  • Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to define requirements and ensure alignment with operational and technical needs.

  • Coordinate internal IT teams including network, infrastructure, service desk, and security to ensure successful delivery.

  • Manage vendor relationships, including ISPs, hardware providers, and field service vendors; ensure alignment with SOWs, SLAs, and timelines.

  • Establish and execute communication plans to provide clear and timely updates to leadership, stakeholders, and project teams.

  • Track project progress, manage budgets, and proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and delays.

  • Lead project meetings, maintain documentation, and ensure all project artifacts are complete and current.

  • Drive consistency through the use of standardized deployment processes, tools, and documentation.

  • Support project governance processes, including change management and escalation handling.

  • Lead end-to-end IT onboarding and deployment for new practices, acquisitions, and expansion sites.

  • Coordinate ISP procurement, circuit installation, and service readiness to meet project timelines.

  • Oversee deployment of network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless solutions.

  • Coordinate installation and configuration of end-user technologies, including computers, printers, and phones.

  • Partner with telecommunications teams and vendors to support VoIP and telephony implementations.

  • Ensure site readiness through structured checklists, validation processes, and pre-go-live assessments.

  • Manage on-site and remote vendor activities to ensure alignment with project timelines and quality standards.

  • Lead go-live planning and execution, including coordination of resources and command center support as needed.

  • Support post-go-live stabilization, issue resolution, and transition to operational support teams.

  • Manage multiple concurrent site deployments and support scaling of repeatable rollout processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health care, IT, or business-related field highly preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years project management experience.

  • PMP certification desired.

  • Experience managing multi-site IT deployments, rollouts, or practice onboarding initiatives.

  • Experience with IT infrastructure components, including networking, telecommunications, and end-user computing.

  • Experience coordinating vendors and field service implementations.

  • Experience working in a large, matrixed organization.

  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, SharePoint, and Teams.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, or Kanban.
