Job Description:

The Director, Enterprise Technology Products reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and is responsible for setting the strategic direction, governance, and execution of enterprise technology platforms that enable research, operational, and corporate functions across the organization. This leader owns the enterprise systems product portfolio, ensures alignment with business strategy, and drives measurable value through scalable, secure, and integrated solutions. This role partners closely with technology leadership and cross-functional business stakeholders to ensure enterprise systems support current operational needs while enabling long-term organizational growth and scalability.

This is a full-time, in-office role based in our Nashville, TN location.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the enterprise systems product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Establish product governance standards, including intake, prioritization, lifecycle management, and success metrics.

  • Balance innovation, regulatory requirements, scalability, and operational stability across the enterprise portfolio.

  • Directly manage and mentor Product Managers overseeing:

  • Enterprise operational platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, service management, identity, integrations)

  • Clinical research systems (e.g., CTMS, regulatory platforms, trial matching solutions)

  • Set clear expectations, performance goals, and development plans for product team members.

  • Foster a strong product culture grounded in user empathy, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Oversee planning, delivery, and optimization of enterprise systems including (but not limited to):

  • Research platforms (Verily, Florence, Salesforce)

  • Identity and access management (Okta and Microsoft)

  • Workflow automation and AI-enabled solutions (ServiceNOW, Salesforce, Workday, Acquia, Claude Code, etc.)

  • Ensure products are effectively integrated across systems to enable seamless data flow, security, and reporting.

  • Guide tradeoff decisions across competing initiatives, technical debt, and resource constraints.

  • Serve as a strategic partner to executive leaders, translating business priorities into product initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with IT, Security, Compliance, and Architecture teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory and security standards (e.g., healthcare compliance, 21 CFR Part 11 where applicable).

  • Communicate product strategy, progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders.

  • Provide executive oversight of vendor relationships in partnership with Product Managers.

  • Ensure vendors meet performance, security, and contractual expectations.

  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis for enterprise systems investments.

  • Champion modern product practices, including outcome-based roadmaps, user-centered design, and metrics-driven delivery.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and outcomes.

  • Drive continuous improvement in product processes, tooling, and ways of working.

  • Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.

  • Experience leading and developing senior product professionals.

  • Ability to align technology investments with long-term business objectives.

  • Strong understanding of how enterprise platforms, data, integrations, and workflows interconnect.

  • Comfortable operating at the executive level and navigating competing priorities.

  • Skilled in vendor strategy, contract oversight, and value realization.

  • Familiarity with healthcare technology, compliance, and security considerations.

  • Ability to guide teams and stakeholders through transformation and growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, product leadership, or enterprise systems roles.

  • 5+ years of people management experience, including managing product managers or equivalent roles.

  • Experience overseeing enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, research systems, identity management, data platforms, or service management tools.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare or regulated technology environments preferred.

  • Demonstrated success partnering with IT, Security, Compliance, and executive leadership teams.

  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
