Job Description:
The Staff Practice Accountant will report to a Senior, Practice Accountant.
This position will be responsible for performing the accounting functions including month-end close, revenue recognition, financial reporting, and providing monthly operating information.

This is a hybrid role in Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities
Work closely and proactively with the practice accounting team to ensure proper accounting, revenue recognition, and reporting at each of the Company’s practices
Oversee and participate in the month-end close process with senior and manager including coordination with financial operations , and practice leaders
Ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with US GAAP
Preparing ad-hoc internal and external financial reporting and analysis
Coordinate timely preparation and review of month-end balance sheet reconciliations, consolidation activities, and financial reporting
Develop, document, implement and maintain the Company’s accounting policies and procedures
Identify areas of process improvement, recommend changes, and execute improvements
Additional responsibilities will be assigned to high performing individuals

Qualifications
Accounting degree (with graduate degree preferred, but not required)
0-4+ years of accounting experience (will hire recent college graduates with requisite coursework and strong GPA)
Proven knowledge of GAAP, FASB, PCAOB, and SEC regulations
Strong knowledge of internal controls, best practices, and the ability to research and document accounting and financial topics required
Strong excel skills
Working knowledge of Workday or other ERP platforms is a plus
Active CPA license or working toward CPA license preferred, but not required
Experience or exposure to healthcare is preferred, but not required
