Job Description:
This role will be responsible for devising and implementing a strategic plan to maintain and increase referrals from healthcare providers within their designated territory. This role emphasizes the use of data to drive analysis, targeted outreach, and territorial expansion. The Physician Liaison must achieve predetermined growth objectives within their assigned region and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the oncology landscape.
This is a remote role in Florida.
Responsibilities
Develop new referral networks while strengthening relationships with current referring physicians.
Initiate and maintain regular communication with referring providers and/or their office staff through various channels, including peer-to-peer interactions, scheduled or follow-up visits, email, and phone outreach.
Leverage Salesforce and OneAnalytics to analyze market trends, monitor referral patterns and new patient volumes, inform territory strategy, and support growth initiatives.
Meet weekly outreach goals and document all activities in Salesforce in a timely and accurate manner.
Review monthly performance metrics, implement variance reporting, monitor, review, and report on all activity and outcomes.
Identify and help resolve workflow or system issues that may hinder the referral process for providers.
Serve as the primary point of contact and collaborate with physician organization groups for the practice.
Assist in coordinating community speaking events for physicians and clinical staff.
Gather and share competitive intelligence—including market dynamics, business risks, and referral trends—with relevant practice leadership.
Report to the OneOncology Liaison leadership team to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment on strategic goals.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Key Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with CRM and market analytics reporting, preferably Salesforce
Ability to pull general analytical territory reports associated with the appropriate reporting tools and job functions.
Strong knowledge of both Oncology and Non-Oncology Infusion Treatments a plus.
Ability to work cooperatively.
Initiative-taking, solution-oriented, and empathic to our patient population.
Experience with marketing and communications.
Strong computer skills; in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Comfortable traveling locally 80% of the work week.
Easily adjust to change.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience within Oncology or the healthcare industry.
May consider without bachelor’s degree with additional relevant experience of 4+ years (equaling 8 years of experience).
