Job Description:
The Manager, Accounts Payable will report to OneOncology’s Accounts Payable Director. This team is responsible to provide financial, administrative, and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled by receiving invoices, processing, verification and reconciling accounts according to the established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner. We are looking for a strong people manager who will help guide the AP Team forward as OneOncology continues to grow.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the AP team, ensuring high performance and accountability
Oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor management, and pay runs.
Implement and maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Treasury, Operations, and Payroll
Maintain the vendor setup team, ensuring all proper documentation is received and maintained
Develop and track KPI’s for the department
Lead the assessment and deployment of new processes and improvements in the department
Responsible for reviews, promoting, and hiring employees
Demonstrate effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach to address business needs and resolve inquires
Consistently take action-oriented and solution-driven approaches to tasks while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
Participate in any other projects as needed
Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience, managerial experience preferred.
Accounts Payable experience (shared service or multi-location preferred)
Healthcare experience a plus
Experience with Workday a plus
Independent worker who can adapt to change quickly
Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communications skills
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to help standardize processes while maintaining great customer service
Can prioritize, able to multi-task, lead a team, bring solutions to the table and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
