Position Summary

The Practice Coordinator (LPN) is responsible for supporting the successful daily operations and supervision of staff across three onsite employee health clinics located in Cumming, Coweta, and Atlanta, Georgia. This position requires an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and combines operational leadership with hands-on clinical support.

The Practice Coordinator will maintain a regular presence across all three locations, including visiting each clinic at least once per week. In addition, this position requires flexibility and availability to provide clinical/Medical Assistant coverage at any of the three locations as staffing and operational needs arise, including unexpected call-outs or coverage gaps.

Regular travel between locations is required. Eligible business mileage between clinic locations will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.

The Practice Coordinator is responsible for supporting an excellent work environment and exceptional experience for each patient we serve.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, staff scheduling, and supervision across assigned clinic locations.

  • Maintain a regular onsite presence across the Cumming, Coweta, and Atlanta locations, including visiting each clinic at least once per week.

  • Remain flexible and available to provide clinical/MA coverage at any of the three locations as operational needs arise, performing duties within the LPN's applicable scope of practice.

  • Travel between clinic locations as necessary to address staffing and operational needs.

  • Review timesheets for accuracy and approve them prior to payroll deadlines.

  • Monitor patient needs, feedback, throughput, wait times, and satisfaction and lead service-improvement efforts as appropriate.

  • Coordinate clinical services, including patient access, scheduling, EMR management, and supply management.

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable organizational policies and procedures.

  • Serve as an onsite resource for patients, staff, and providers and assist with training and onboarding new team members.

  • Ensure clinic facilities and equipment are appropriately maintained.

  • Promptly communicate and escalate staff, patient, provider, operational, or facility concerns to management.

  • Collaborate with clinical leaders on staff performance reviews, coaching, feedback, and disciplinary action.

  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Georgia.

  • Ability and willingness to provide hands-on clinical support within the LPN scope of practice.

  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly among clinic locations in Cumming, Coweta, and Atlanta.

  • Flexibility to respond to staffing and clinical coverage needs across all three locations.

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Strong communication skills, including active listening and empathy.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize competing responsibilities, and work independently.

  • Proficiency with basic technology, including Microsoft products.

  • Ability or willingness to learn Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.

  • Strong professionalism and ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, staff, and leadership.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Ability to concentrate, think, learn, and exercise appropriate judgment.

  • Ability to hear, see, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, lift, push, and pull.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
• Highschool degree or equivalent required, Associates degree in related field preferred
• Two years of medical office experience
• Working knowledge of outpatient clinic workflow and scheduling
• Willing to travel between multiple sites
• BLS Certified
• Active LPN or RN License preferred
• At least two years of supervisory experience in a medical office, outpatient setting preferred.
