Description
One to One Health is looking for a Fitness Manager to join and lead our fitness team located at Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas!
The Fitness Center Manager is responsible for the overall operation, performance, and member experience of the fitness facility. This role oversees staff, programming, equipment maintenance, and membership growth while ensuring compliance with safety and health standards.
Job requirements:
- Oversee daily fitness center operations, including scheduling, cleanliness, and equipment readiness
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and emergency procedures
- Monitor budget performance, expenses, and revenue goals
- Develop and implement fitness programs, classes, and wellness initiatives
- Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve member concerns
- Support membership sales, retention, and engagement initiatives
- Oversee maintenance and repair of fitness equipment
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise fitness staff (fitness specialists)
- Develop staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback
Qualifications
Skills/Knowledge:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of fitness programming, equipment, and safety standards
- Customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Budgeting, sales, and operational management knowledge-Proficiency in scheduling and membership management systems
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
- Ability to follow written or verbal step-by-step instructions
- Ability to concentrate, think, and learn
- Ability to hear, see, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, lift, push and pull
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3–5 years of experience in fitness center operations or management
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (required)
- Nationally recognized fitness certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM) (Required)
