About the role:
We're looking to grow the Licensing team with the addition of a Licensing Specialist. As part of the dynamic team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the prompt and accurate processing of NP/PA/MD licenses, perform administrative tasks, and work alongside our operations team to ensure visibility and alignment on priorities. Your influence will extend to shaping the infrastructure of this team as it continues to grow.
What you can look forward to owning:
- Prepare and submit provider license applications by gathering required documents, completing forms, and ensuring every detail is accurate before submission. · Track applications from start to finish, including proactive status monitoring, managing follow up, and completing pre/post submission tasks to keep the process moving.
- Manage communication directly with state licensing boards and regulatory agencies to confirm and document application requirements, resolve issues, and press for continuous status updates.
- Maintain organized digital records of all provider licenses, renewal dates, and related documentation so information is easy to access and audit-ready. · Partner directly with providers to collect required information and documentation, follow up on incomplete items, and keep them informed on application status and next steps.
- Proactively monitor expiration dates and initiate renewals early to prevent any lapse in licensure.
- Support process improvement efforts by identifying ways to make tracking, documentation, and workflows more efficient as the team grows.
The essential skills you’ll need to bring:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3 years of relevant work experience required.
- Effective communication skills for internal and external coordination.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Previous experience in using Microsoft Suite, state databases, and similar software applications a plus
