Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a QA Engineer to augment the quality and reliability of our telehealth platform (“TextCare”) through the whole SDLC. This role is a hands-on, technical focus area working with other Engineers and Product to translate product requirements into structured, automated testing strategies, and validating system behavior end-to-end for ongoing feature development.

Job requirements:

Test Automation

• Execute structured test plans across patient-facing, Care Team-facing, and internal operations workflows
• Perform manual end-to-end testing where necessary for new features
• Validate acceptance criteria defined in others’ tickets
• Identify, document, and clearly reproduce bugs

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with other Engineers to clarify expected behavior
• Product to understand feature intent
• Operations to validate real-world workflow adoption and accuracy

Skills/Knowledge:

• Cypress (end-to-end automation)
• GitHub Actions (CI/CD automation & test orchestration)
• Linear (ticketing, issue tracking, and Sprint planning)
• Retool (internal tooling)

Qualifications/ Experience:

• Recent Computer Science graduate (or similar on-the-job experience) motivated to automate the QA process
• Strong written communication skills
• Comfortable learning new tools and technologies
• Excited to work in a regulated healthcare environment where quality directly impacts patient safety
