We are looking for a fulltime Human Resource Generalist to support our people department. This role is an onsite opportunity located at our corporate headquarters in Chattanooga, TN.

The Role

The HR Generalist at One to One Health partners closely with first level supervisors and employees across the organization. This role acts as the day-to-day point of contact for basic employee relations, coaching supervisors through people challenges, policy questions, and helping the People department implement scalable HR practices that fit a growing healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as people resource for assigned clinical and TextCare teams
  • With guidance from Director of People, handle basic employee relations matters, including performance concerns, workplace conflicts, and policy violations.
  • Partner with HR Leadership on complex or high-risk employee relations issues
  • Identify and report patterns and trends in employee relations issues.
  • Completes exit interviews
  • Support performance improvement plans (PIPs), disciplinary actions, and basic separations in a consistent and compliant manner
  • Act as a confidential and approachable resource for employees seeking guidance or raising concerns
  • Partner with Director of People to improve engagement, retention, and manager effectiveness.
  • Aide in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across a multi-state workforce
  • Support healthcare-specific requirements such as licensure verification, background checks, and audit readiness as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential employee records
  • Support people initiatives tied to new launches and organizational change
  • Assists in managing HRIS.
  • Serves as back up to HR Coordinator for payroll and onboarding.
  • Serves as back up to Talent Acquisition Coordinator for candidate review and interview pipelines.
  • Assists on special projects and research as requested by the Director of People.

Qualifications

Skills/ Knowledge

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience required
  • A minimum of 2 years in a role that has an employee relations focus.
  • Solid knowledge of multi-state employment laws and experience for a multi-state organization.
  • Experience working in HR in a healthcare setting highly preferred with experience supporting a credentialed or clinical work force
  • Independent starter who is comfort working in evolving and fast growth environments
