Description

Position Summary

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will provide medical leadership to the One to One Health virtual and onsite teams, overseeing strategy, operations, quality, and compliance for worksite and virtual primary care. Key duties involve setting clinical policies, managing medical staff both onsite and remote, ensuring regulatory adherence (like HIPAA), improving patient outcomes via data, and driving innovation in virtual care delivery, requiring strong leadership, tech savvy, and strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Strategy & Leadership: Develop clinical vision, set best practices for in-person care, lead medical teams, and ensure high-quality, safe patient care.
  • Telehealth Operations: Oversee all clinical aspects of telemedicine platforms, guide adoption of new tech, and ensure smooth integration of virtual services.
  • Quality & Compliance: Implement quality improvement programs, monitor metrics (patient satisfaction, outcomes), ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, state laws).
  • Staff & Provider Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluateproviders; manage medical staff performance and development; serve as supervising physician for advanced practice providers
  • Business & Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with executive team to align medical goals with business objectives, manage budgets, and support growth.
  • Technology & Innovation: Stay current with digital health trends, oversee EHR/EMR systems, and leverage data analytics for better care.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the organization externally, build partnerships, and serve as a bridge between clinical staff, IT, and leadership.

Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Healthcare analytics and KPI fluency
  • Clinical informatics / EHR understanding

  • Clinical pathway and protocol standardization
  • Strong leadership, communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with common software (MS Office, data analysis tools) and ability to learn new systems.

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO degree, board certification, active medical license, plus extensive clinical and management experience.
  • Strong experience in telehealth, digital health tools, and healthcare IT.
