Position: Technical Product Manager
Monogram Health is a multispecialty, in-home, value-based care provider treating complex polychronic patients across cardiology, pulmonary, endocrine, palliative, and behavioral health. Our Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure team is the operational foundation that keeps a distributed clinical workforce connected, secure, and productive, and we are growing the product discipline inside that team.
The Technical Product Manager sits at the intersection of business strategy and cloud infrastructure delivery. Reporting to the VP of Cloud Engineering, this role owns the product roadmap for Monogram’s Azure platform, Microsoft 365 E5 environment, and supporting infrastructure services. You will work directly with the Azure Platform Engineers, Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, and Cloud Engineering teams to translate business needs into well-scoped, prioritized, and measurable platform capabilities. This is a role for someone who is technically fluent, operationally rigorous, and comfortable being the connective tissue between engineering execution and organizational outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the product roadmap for Monogram’s Azure cloud platform, Microsoft 365 E5 tenant, Intune endpoint environment, and related infrastructure services.
- Translate business objectives, clinical operational needs, and security requirements into clearly prioritized platform capabilities and engineering initiatives.
- Define and maintain OKRs, KPIs, and SLO targets for platform services in partnership with the VP of Cloud Engineering and IT leadership.
- Use data analysis, platform telemetry, and stakeholder feedback to inform roadmap prioritization and resolve tradeoffs.
- Evaluate and recommend new Azure services, M365 capabilities, and infrastructure tooling where they create measurable business or operational value.
- Gather, analyze, and document technical and business requirements from stakeholders across IT, Security, and Operations.
- Decompose platform initiatives into well-scoped epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering teams can execute against confidently.
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineers, Systems Administrators, and Systems Engineers to evaluate technical solutions, assess feasibility, and navigate design tradeoffs.
- Own sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release coordination within an agile operating model.
- Perform validation testing to confirm delivered capabilities meet defined acceptance criteria and stakeholder intent.
- Ensure requirements documentation is accurate, complete, and validated with stakeholders before engineering work begins.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Cloud Engineering team and internal stakeholders including IT Operations, Security, Operations, and Clinical leadership.
- Communicate platform roadmap, delivery status, and tradeoff decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Facilitate walkthroughs, reviews, and demos to keep stakeholders aligned and requirements validated throughout delivery cycles.
- Partner with the Cybersecurity, Compliance, and Privacy teams to ensure platform initiatives meet HIPAA and internal risk requirements.
- Develop a working understanding of Monogram’s Azure architecture, M365 E5 configuration, and Intune endpoint environment to make credible product decisions.
- Partner with engineering leadership on cloud cost visibility, FinOps practices, and license utilization to support cost-aware product decisions.
- Track platform adoption metrics, incident trends, and operational performance data to identify improvement opportunities and inform roadmap decisions.
- Support vendor evaluation processes for cloud, infrastructure, and platform tooling in partnership with IT and Procurement leadership.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a product manager, product owner, technical program manager, or business analyst role supporting technology or infrastructure products. Previous experience in healthcare IT or other regulated environments; HIPAA familiarity a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, sufficient to engage credibly with cloud engineers and evaluate platform tradeoffs.
- Demonstrated experience writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in an agile or scrum operating model.
- Advanced analytical skills with experience using data to drive prioritization and communicate impact.
- Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Evidence of organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives without losing fidelity on any of them.
- Microsoft certifications: AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals), MS-900 (M365 Fundamentals), or equivalent; PMP or CSPO a plus.
- Experience working with infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform teams as the product owner or TPM, ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, including familiarity with change management and incident management workflows preferred.
- Familiarity with FinOps concepts and cloud cost management practices.
- Experience with product management tooling such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar backlog and roadmap platforms.
