Position: Collaborative Practice Agreement Manager

The Collaborative Practice Agreement (CPA) Manager is responsible for overseeing all CPAs across applicable states for Monogram Health’s practitioners, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. This role ensures compliance with state regulations, supports timely licensing and credentialing, and serves as the organization’s subject matter expert on CPA requirements.

The CPA Manager works closely with Licensing, Credentialing, Provider Enrollment, HR, Legal, Compliance, and Clinical Operations to ensure practitioners remain compliant and able to provide uninterrupted care. Success in this role requires deep knowledge of state practice acts, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the CPA subject matter expert and escalation point for internal teams and clinical leadership.
  • Provide training and support for staff on CPA-related workflows.
  • Educate and guide providers through CPA documentation and related licensure requirements.
  • Provide support to clinical leadership in pairing advanced practice providers with collaborating physicians.
  • Identify and address compliance risks, implementing proactive solutions.
  • Draft, execute, track, and maintain CPAs in compliance with state-specific requirements.
  • Ensure agreements reflect appropriate supervision ratios, prescribing authority, and scope of practice.
  • Monitor expirations, renewals, and amendments to maintain compliance.
  • Partner with Licensing to integrate CPA requirements into state licensing processes.
  • Coordinate with Credentialing and Provider Enrollment to align CPAs with payer and facility requirements.
  • Provide CPA documentation during internal, state, and payer audits.
  • Secure initial CPA(s) for new practitioners prior to start date.
  • Maintain accurate, organized CPA records in credentialing systems and shared drives.
  • Track lifecycle events (execution, renewal, amendment, expiration) and generate weekly/monthly compliance reports.
  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to improve scalability, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Adhere to Monogram Health credentialing policies and procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in licensing, credentialing, medical staff office, or compliance operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet.
  • Knowledge of state practice acts and CPA requirements.
  • Attention to detail with proven organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to research regulations and interpret complex requirements.
  • Capable of managing multiple time-sensitive deliverables independently.
  • Effective communication skills with providers, leadership, and external agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Professionalism, poise, critical thinking, judgement, and decision-making skills.
