Job Description

A bit about this role:

  • The supervisor role will conduct audits and quality reviews; implement education, workflow refinements, and policy updates (including InterQual and clinical guidelines) in collaboration with medical leadership.

  • The supervisor will partner with clinical, operational, and technology teams to design, implement, and support AI/LLM-enabled workflows that improve triage, clinical review efficiency, documentation quality, and staff experience.

  • This is a fast-paced, high-change environment requiring someone who thrives on operational challenges, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and is comfortable leading a team.

Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:

  • Supervise the Acute UM Inpatient team, including hiring, scheduling, training, performance management, coaching, and corrective action.

  • The supervisor will monitor and act on key UM and operational metrics (timeliness, denial/overturn rates, volumes, throughput), identifying trends and driving continuous improvement.


Required skills and experience:

  • An unrestricted RN license with a minimum of 4 years of experience

  • A minimum of 3 years experience doing utilization management at a health plan

  • A minimum of 1-2 years supervisory experience

  • Understanding of AI/LLM

  • Knowledge of Interqual Guidelines

  • Understanding of CMS guidelines and MA requirements

Desired skills and experience:

  • Certified in InterQual

Salary Range: $75,000-$115,000

The pay range listed for this position is the range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. Once the interview process begins, your talent partner will provide additional information on the compensation for the role, along with additional information on our total rewards package. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
