A bit about this role:
Reports to the Senior Manager, Practice Operations. The Senior Associate, Operations will oversee day to day activities and support healthcare operations by overseeing policy adherence, process improvement, and claims management. Responsibilities include monitoring key metrics, analyzing trends, leading cross-functional projects, and developing training and documentation. The role also provides billing and denial management support while collaborating with clinical staff and leadership to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:
Policy Operations Oversight & Management
Partner with Sr Mgr, Practice Operations to monitor, report and own key metrics in the Policy Adherence space
Analyze operational and compliance trends, prepare routine reports and make recommendations for improvements
Oversee the verification and maintenance of policies, procedures and knowledge base resources
Process Improvement & Special Projects
Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process solutions to improve effectiveness across teams
Lead small-to-medium cross-functional projects, such as reducing denial rates or improving documentation workflows
Support other organizational priorities by coordinating and executing other special projects
Training & Documentation
Develop and maintain training guides, SOPs, or quick reference materials for operational workflows.
Collaborate on the design and delivery of annual compliance training for clinical staff
Claims & Billing Support
Review claim submissions, including cases involving addendums or other documentation updates.
Conduct regular reviews of all claim denials; track trends and share actionable insights with leadership on a monthly basis
Ensure timely review and resolution of denied or adjusted claims within 30 days
Provide training on billing processes, telehealth service requirements, and denial management.
Support billing needs for new clinical programs
Required skills and experience:
2+ years of professional experience, at least 1 year in a healthcare administrative, healthcare compliance or billing support role.
Familiarity with EHR systems and reviewing documentation for accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, especially across departments and with clinical professionals.
Familiarity with Medicare Advantage requirements
Strong working knowledge of claims processes and billing requirements for various provider types (NP, MD, RN).
Attention to detail, and ability to work on multiple projects at a time.
Desired skills and experience:
Interest in and/or experience with basic data analysis (e.g., Excel/Sheets formulas, pivot tables, or SQL).
Ability to generate and interpret reports in tools like Looker or similar BI platforms.
Curiosity about technology in healthcare, including tools like large language models (LLMs), LLM Copilots, and other workflow automation.
Strong experience using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Meets); comfort learning new tools and systems.
Salary range: $70,000 - $100,000
Our ranges are purposefully broad to allow for growth within the role over time. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
