About Blackbird Health
Blackbird Health is clinician-founded, owned, and operated by dedicated professionals. We believe that providing the best care for children starts with building the best possible team. We deliver virtual and in-person mental health services across Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey—and we’re growing into new markets in 2026.
At Blackbird, we take a whole-child approach, looking at how the brain, body, and behavior interact to address the root causes of challenges, not just the symptoms. Every role matters here, and you’ll join a collaborative, supportive, and innovative team that’s shaping the future of pediatric mental health care. If you’re passionate about helping children and families while growing your career, Blackbird is the place to make an impact.

About the Role
We’re looking for two highly organized, execution-oriented operators to serve as the on-the-ground owners of our clinic environments across defined regions. This role combines ongoing facilities management with hands-on support for new clinic launches.
You’ll be the person ensuring our physical spaces consistently meet a high bar—for both patient experience and team functionality—while also playing a critical role in opening new clinics smoothly and on time.
What You’ll Do
1. Ongoing Facilities Ownership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all facility-related needs across your territory
- Manage and triage incoming tickets (repairs, maintenance, space issues), ensuring timely resolution
- Coordinate with vendors (cleaning, maintenance, landlords, etc.) and hold them accountable to quality and timelines
- Conduct regular in-person visits to clinics to proactively identify and address issues
- Ensure clinics are safe, functional, and aligned with company standards for patient and team experience
- Track recurring issues and identify opportunities for systemic improvements
2. New Clinic Launch Execution
- Act as the local execution lead for new clinic openings in your region
- Coordinate vendors, deliveries, and site readiness (furniture, equipment, signage, etc.)
- Ensure all physical space elements are ready ahead of opening day including regulatory readiness (emergency procedures, safety, etc)
- Prepare clinic guides and train new team members on clinic space
- Partner with central teams on timelines, checklists, and issue escalation
- Troubleshoot last-mile issues quickly and effectively
- Tour and help assess potential spaces
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with operations, clinical, and central support teams
- Communicate clearly and proactively on status, risks, and timelines
- Maintain simple tracking systems to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
- Partner with operations to ensure that clinic look and feel adheres to Blackbird guidelines over time and is refreshed as necessary
What We’re Looking For
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through—things don’t get dropped on your watch
- Strong executor who is comfortable owning details and driving work to completion
- Clear, proactive communicator who can coordinate across multiple stakeholders
- Resourceful and solutions-oriented—able to troubleshoot and unblock quickly
- Comfortable working independently in a distributed environment
- Willing and able to travel regularly within your region
Nice to have:
- Experience in facilities, office management, retail operations, healthcare ops, or similar
- Experience supporting new site openings or physical build-outs
Why This Role Matters
Our clinics are core to the experience we deliver. This role ensures our spaces consistently meet a high bar and that new locations open smoothly—directly impacting both patient experience and team effectiveness.
Location Options:
- Mid-Atlantic South: Virginia & Maryland
- Mid-Atlantic North: Pennsylvania & New Jersey
Type: Contractor (approx. 20–25 hours/week)
Travel: Regular in-territory travel required
